The L2P role is a key position in the Flesh and Blood community, where you\u2019ll be at the forefront of introducing new players to the game. As an L2P candidate, your role is more than just explaining the rules\u2014you’re building lasting relationships, helping players discover a new hobby, and creating an environment that encourages growth and excitement for Flesh and Blood.<\/span><\/p>

This guide will walk you through the core skills you\u2019ll need to develop in order to receive the L2P certification and become an effective ambassador for the game. Each part focuses on a different area: People skills, Delivery skills, and Collaboration skills. Whether you\u2019re interacting directly with players, teaching the technical parts of the game, or collaborating with your team, you\u2019ll learn how to provide an experience that is friendly, professional, and enjoyable for everyone.<\/span><\/p>

In this section, we\u2019ll focus on your ability to effectively deliver the technical aspects of the game and provide players with the resources they need to continue their Flesh and Blood journey. Mastering delivery skills means understanding the game inside and out, being able to teach it clearly, and guiding new players toward valuable tools and community and online resources. This includes knowing how to explain key concepts, introducing players to deckbuilding, and helping them find games locally.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When teaching the game, it is essential to use official Flesh and Blood terminology consistently. While it\u2019s natural to occasionally refer to similar concepts from other games (e.g., \u201cmana\u201d or \u201cenergy\u201d) if that player already knows that game as a way to draw a parallel, every time you introduce a game concept, use the official Flesh and Blood term. For example, always say “resource” instead of “mana” and “banish” instead of “exile.” Using the correct terms reinforces familiarity with the game and ensures players leave with the proper language to connect with the community and improve their understanding.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2. Community Resources Knowledge<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As an L2P guide, part of your role is to ensure that new players can easily access the resources they need to continue playing and developing their skills. Ideally, after a player leaves the booth, they should know where to find events, how to connect with other players, and where to learn more about the game\u2019s rules and strategies.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

One of the most important resources you\u2019ll be introducing them to is the <\/span>GEM system<\/b>\u2014the platform where players can create an account to register for events and track their progress. You should also know how to help players find their nearest <\/span>local game store (LGS)<\/b>, where they can participate in events like armories, skirmishes, or pre-releases.<\/span><\/p>
